Comfortable rustic rondavel, tucked away in the bush and decorated simply and homely with antique wooden cottage design, giving you that home away from home feeling and welcomes guests to the peaceful and picturesque surroundings.

About the accommodation

This camp offers reasonably priced accommodation with great comfort. It has been well received by both local & overseas guests. Set on a plains game reserve with a view of the amazing mountain near Kruger Park. Relax and rewind in peace and quiet.

There are 4 traditional thatched rondavels
 

• 2 rondavels (Hornbill & Woodpecker) with a semi open “Bush Bathroom” - outdoor shower, covered toilet & basin
• 2 rondavels (Drongo & Shrike) share a separate full bathroom and outdoor shower.
• All beds offer luxury percale linen & towels are supplied.
• Beds - King or can be converted to 2 singles or where there is a Queen a single bed is also available.
• All rondavels have a wardrobe & seating.
• Hospitality trays with Nescafe instant coffee, Ceylon & Rooibos Teas and a small fridge/freezer.
• There is a pool
• No TV or Wi-Fi at this camp one can access both at the Shikwari Suites Camp in the lounge.
• There is a boma where one can braai
• The camp is situated on a plains game reserve of Shikwari Nature Reserve and is 550mtrs away from the main Shikwari Suites camp where meals are taken.      
• Serviced & sanitized daily in line with the new normal.

• Children 5 – 12 years old accommodated at half the normal price, R250 per child per night
• No more than 2 children are allowed in a room with parents. No capacity for more than 2 adults per room.
