Day 1 - Arrival - Cairo hotel
Arrival in Cairo, meeting and assisting then transfer to your hotel, dinner and overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 - Giza pyramids – Saqqara – Memphis - railway station
Early in the morning after breakfast your archeologist tour guide will Escort you for a guided day tour starting with Saqqara where the step pyramid complex of the king Djoser which is the first stone pyramid and the very early pyramid dates back to more or less 2600 BC and will be able to visit the fascinating pyramid of unas from inside to realise the first recording for the book of the death which is known as the (pyramids texts) which is decorating the walls of the burial chamber and not to forget to visit the mastaba of princess idut to see the quality of the colours which still exists for 4500 years. Then proceed to visit the city Memphis which is the first capital of ancient Egypt dates back to more or less 5100 years. Lunch at Saqqara restaurant then proceed to the Giza plateau where the only remaining wonder among the seven wonders of the ancient world lies, the Great Pyramid of the King Cheops, and the pyramids of Chephren and Mykerinus, as well as the Great Sphinx at Giza plateau. then transfer to Giza Railway station to take the sleeper train to Aswan. - Kindly note that your train ticket is inclusive of dinner and breakfast.

Day 3 - Aswan – cruise- tours
Meet and assist at Aswan railway station, you will then leave for an excursion tour to Aswan where you will discover one of the most important cities in Egypt starting at the High Dam, an engineering miracle constructed in 1960 to protect Egypt from the annual Nile floods, which is also an important source of water and electricity. You will then head to the Philae Temple of Goddess ISIS, one of the greatest temples in Egypt which occupies about a quarter of the island and has huge complete pylons and beautiful surroundings. You will visit the Unfinished Obelisk which shows the techniques used by the ancient Egyptians to cut obelisks. It is believed that this obelisk belonged to Queen Hatshepsut, one of the rulers of the 18th Dynasty and the royal wife of King Tuthmosis II. Cruise checks in followed by lunch and then enjoying some time of relaxation and a shower. In the afternoon you will enjoy a sailing expedition on the Nile by the Felucca around Elephantine Island and the Kitchener’s Botanical Gardens known for its rich array of subtropical, exotic, and rare plants and Elephantine Island which is the largest island of Aswan area. Elephantine is Greek for elephant, and it is believed that the island got this name because it was a major ivory trading centre. You will then be driven back to the boat to have dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4 - Abu Simbel – Kom Ombo
You will depart on a 3-hour drive from Aswan to Abu Simbel via air condition van. Upon arrival, you will see the Colossi Temple of Abu Simbel initially built by King Ramses II and recently saved from inundation of the Nile waters. The most spectacular aspect of this temple is its setting on the solid rock above the banks of the Nile River. It is believed that the axis of the temple was positioned by the ancient Egyptian architects in such a way that every year on February 22nd and October 22nd, the rays of the sun would penetrate the sanctuary and illuminate the sculptures on the back wall, except for the statue of Ptah, the god connected with the Underworld, who always remained in the dark. These dates are allegedly the King's birthday and coronation day. After lunch on the boat during the sailing to Kom Ombo Temple, which is in Kom Ombo town, 45km north of Aswan. This temple was built on a hillside overlooking the Nile and was constructed in the Ptolemaic roman era for the worship of two god’s, Horus to the right and Sobek to the left, that why the temple has two corridors and two sanctuaries as opposed to other temples which have one corridor and one sanctuary. You will then sail to Edfu as you enjoy afternoon tea. You will have dinner and Overnight On board Edfu.
Day 5 - Edfu – Luxor
After breakfast, you will visit the Edfu temple located 123 km north of Aswan on the West Bank of the Nile. It dates to the Ptolemaic Period and was dedicated to the worship of God. It is one of
the most beautiful Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge, splendid structure that blends Paranoiac and Greek architecture. Its grandeur competes with Luxor temples and is the second largest temple after Karnak temples. You will then sail to Luxor via Esna, Enjoy the Lunch on board and the teatime at the cruise sun deck, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6 - Cruise checks out - Luxor excursion
In the morning after breakfast check out from the cruise and start a guided day tour in Luxor with the western bank. Visit the Valley of the Kings where you will see the well-preserved tombs belonging to the kings of the new kingdom including the great ruler Ramses III, Mernptah and the tomb of the king Ramses 9. You will visit the El-Deir El Bahari Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (approximately 1490-1469 B.C). She is the only pharaonic woman who reigned in ancient Egypt. You will pass by the Colossi of Memnon which are remains of the Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep III. lunch in a local restaurant then proceed to Karnak temple which is among a series of temples built in different reigns. It is the most contributed and functioning temple in the world and the greatest example of worship in history dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu. And not to forget the fascinating Luxor temple which was built by king Amenhotep the 3 and was completed by the king Ramses 2. Then you will be transferred to Luxor railway station to take the sleeper train back to Cairo and overnight on board.
Day 7 - Cairo excursion – hotel
Meet and assist at Giza railway station, you will then leave for an excursion tour in Cairo to do the Egyptian museum which exhibits a collection of over 120,000 treasured masterpieces, dating back to the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman period including the marvellous collection of the young King Tutankhamen. then proceed to the old Coptic city where the hanging church of the Virgin Mary & the Synagogue of Ben Ezra then proceed to khan al Khalili bazaar for a quick look will then be transferred to your hotel for dinner and overnight Cairo.
Day 8 - Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to Cairo international airport to depart to your following destination.
