Returns and Refunds Policy

Returning an item

Please contact the Hyperli returns department at support@hyperli.com , within seven working days of receiving the unwanted item. We have the right to decline any items sent to us that is not in a resalable condition.Items will only be accepted if unopened, unused and in its original packaging.The consumer will be liable for the costs of returning the goods. The refund or credit awarded will exclude the transport cost.

Please ensure - Print a waybill copy as proof. 

Be available to sign for the collection at the agreed time.  Please be aware that this time may be scheduled by the courier who may contact you via email or phone.
Please retain proof of your collection and your refund, credit or replacement will be processed within 30 days.Hyperli Goods can only accept returns of products sold by Hyperli. Any items accidentally returned to Hyperli Goods cannot be re-sent to the customer. Hyperli Goods will not be responsible for these items.
Refunds: A refund will only be processed once we have received and assessed the product.Please expect a refund within 10 days of the return  

Returning unwanted or defective goods

Unwanted products must be returned unused and in good condition. You must take care to ensure that the product is properly packaged so that it will not be damaged while in transit. If the product is found to be used beyond what it takes for you to reasonably inspect it or damaged, then we may reject a refund.
Returning unwanted products: You have seven calendar days starting the day you, or a third party indicated by you, receive the product to cancel your contract unless the product does not have cancellation rights. Please return the product as soon as possible following the cancellation of your contract. The product must be sent to us within 30 calendar days from your notice to us of your cancellation. You are responsible for the return shipping costs of the product when you cancel your contract.

Defective, faulty or non-conforming products: We encourage you to inspect each product carefully upon receipt. If a product has a defect or fault existing at the time of delivery or otherwise does not conform to your order, you have a statutory right to return the product. We strongly encourage you to get in touch with our customer service as soon as you become aware of any problems. If you return a defective, faulty or non-conforming product to us, the product will be inspected at our warehouse. If a defect or fault is found or the product does not match your order, we will be happy to provide a full refund, in accordance with applicable law. Products that have been misused or changed may not be eligible for returns. If you are eligible for a refund, such refund will be processed within 30 calendar days of our receipt of the product (or, if applicable, the date you provide us proof of shipment of the product to us).

In terms of s56 (read with s55) of the CPA, all goods sold to a consumer are sold with an implied warranty of quality, that cannot be contracted out of or revoked. The warranty gives the consumer the right to receive goods that:

are reasonably suitable for the purpose that they are intended to be used for,
are of good quality, free of defects and in good working order, and
will be durable and usable for a reasonable period of time.

If goods are found not to comply with these requirements then, for up to 6 months after receiving the goods, the consumer can:
return the goods, or
get the goods replaced, or
get the goods repaired.

However, a consumer will not:
be able to return the goods because it was defective or not suitable for the purpose if:
the consumer was made aware of the specific defects,
the consumer agreed to receive the goods in that condition.

Note: This only applies to items sold and fulfilled by our marketplace merchants. This Returns Policy only applies in respect of products purchased from  Hyperli. This Returns Policy does NOT apply in respect of any vouchers you purchased from  Hyperli which are redeemable with merchants for products. Please take note of the following: As described in the Terms of Sale and in accordance with the ECT CPA Act, you have up to 7 working days, starting the day after you receive your product to cancel and return your order in the original packaging, unless the fine print of the deal states the product cannot be returned. In accordance with the ECT CPA Act Section 16 provisions, you have the following rights of returns as a consumer that applies to your transactions.

Returns Guide 

Baby Products

All baby items need to be returned in original and new condition. If, upon inspection, the items appear to be used, worn or without tags, we will not be able to process your return. 

Mattresses & Bedding

For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on any opened mattresses or bedding. Bedding items include duvets, pillows, mattress toppers, etc.

Jewellery 

We cannot accept returns on any pierced body jewellery such as earrings for hygiene reasons.

Food, Beverages and flowers

We do not accept returns on perishable items such as food, beverages and flowers.

Clothing & Shoes

Clothes must be returned unused and in a resalable condition with all tags.  If upon inspection, clothes appear to be worn or without tags, we cannot accept returns.

Swimwear,  underwear, socks  and intimate's

We do not accept returns on opened items and certain types of clothing such as underwear, swimwear, and control wear (eg. corsets, waist trainers, etc.) for hygiene reasons.

Health and Beauty

We do not accept any returns on health and beauty products due to hygiene purposes.

Furniture - Outdoor & Indoor

We are unable to accept returns on any self-assembly products that have been partially or fully assembled. We try to provide accurate measurements on our deal page and we are unable to accept returns.

CDs & DVDs

We cannot accept returns on CDs, DVDs or Software programmes if the plastic wrapping and/or security seal have been broken or of any digital downloads.

Electronics

In order to protect your privacy and other interests in data, please delete all data on returned electronics and reset the products to factory settings. We are not responsible for any data contained on returned items. Also, we cannot accept any returns that have been inserted into your body, specifically earphones.

Adult Toys

We do not accept any returns on adult toys due to hygiene and safety reasons.

If you fail to comply with the provisions of this Returns Policy, we reserve the right to refuse returns or to charge you our fees and expenses.

Statutory Returns

Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act may apply to your order. Section 44 is only applicable if you are a natural person – in other words, a human being. You must also be the end user of the goods or service. If you qualify as a consumer under the ECT Act, you may be entitled to cancel some electronic transactions within seven days, without reason or penalty.


You must return any goods in new condition with all packaging and materials. We will refund the purchase price of the goods (minus the direct costs of returning the goods) within 30 days of the date of cancellation.

The original delivery charge will not be refunded and the cost for returning the parcel is at your expense. Please include your order or invoice number in the box of the return so that your refund can be processed.

The following goods cannot be returned in terms of the ECT Act:

Unsealed video games, software or other audio or video recordings, Books, magazines or other periodicals, and Items we have specially sourced for you

Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act may also apply to your order. Section 56 will only apply if:

you are a natural person – in other words, a human being, or a juristic person (like a company, trust or closed corporation) with an annual turnover of less than R2 million.

Warranty support - computers and electronics

All COMPUTERS and ELECTRONICS products sold on Hyperli (excluding Gaming Consoles) carry their full manufacturer's warranty as stipulated by the official South African distributor, unless otherwise specified. Such warranty is usually, but not limited to, 12 months and if not stipulated on the Hyperli website can be requested by contacting Hyperli. Items under warranty are sent to the relevant supplier or official service centre for repair or replacement. Such Manufacturer Guarantee is restricted to the costs of repair or replacement of faulty goods or refund of the purchase price at the sole discretion of Hyperli and its suppliers after investigation and/or testing of goods. Defective software may only be exchanged for the identical item.


All Hardware Manufacturer Guarantees are immediately null and void if equipment has been tampered with, warranty stickers have been removed, seals on equipment have been broken by anyone other than the manufacturer’s representative or if the goods have been operated outside the manufacturer’s specifications.

The Warranty on gaming consoles (Playstation, Xbox 360, Nintendo) is carried by the official local distributor or their authorised service agent and not by [The Company]. For gaming console warranty claims please contact the following:

Under no circumstances will Hyperli be liable for any damage arising from any misuse or abuse of the goods. Hyperli cannot be held responsible for any data loss whatsoever from storage media returned for exchange or repair.

Please ensure that all games and software are compatible with your current hardware, operating system or console as Hyperli cannot be responsible for system incompatibilities. System requirements are usually available on the publisher’s official website. If you are still unsure of whether the item is compatible with your system, please contact support@hyperli.com for further confirmation.
