What is Cryolipolysis Fat Freezing?
Cryolipolysis fat freezing is a non-invasive procedure that gently and effectively targets the fat cells below the skin while leaving the skin itself unaffected. The treated fat cells are crystalised (frozen), then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells, leaving a more sculpted you.
What is Cryolipolysis used to treat?
Cryolipolysis is used to break down stubborn areas of fat deposits. The exposure to cooling causes a localized inflammatory process in the fat cells within the treated area, causing damage to the fat cells by rupturing them, thereby releasing their contents. These contents are then naturally flushed away by your body’s own mechanisms. Ultimately leading to a gradual reduction of the thickness of fat layer which, in turn, reduces the visible bulges within four to 12 weeks.
