Regas service includes:
- Vacuum process to remove existing gas from the system
- draining existing compressor oil and replacing with new oil, testing for major leaks
- Adding UV dye to monitor any minor leaks that may appear over time and then refilling to recommended pressure level for each vehicle.
Things you should know about Regassing:
- Your car will need a re-gas ever 1.5 - 2 years on average
- On average your vehicle will lose around 10% of the gas annually. As it loses, the gas it will stop producing as much cold air
- The regassing process takes about an hour to complete
