3-Course menu

Starters
 
  • Snails – 6 snails in our famous garlic parsley sauce
  • Sliced Chorizo – butter beans, peppadews, green pepper, onions, olives, chilli, vinaigrette served with fresh toasted caco bread
  • Figados de Galinha – chicken livers pan fried with homemade tomato sauce, garlic, paprika, bay leaves, chilli sauce and a touch of cream
  • Moelas – chicken giblets cooked in olive oil, white wine, a touch of garlic, cloves, cumin & paprika
  • Ameijoas – clams braised in Porto wine white, onions, tomato coriander and a touch of chilli

Mains
 
  • Lulas/Calamari – Falklands calamari marinated in our secret spices and grilled in lemon butter, served with chips or rice
  • Prawn Curry – 10 prawns in a coconut curry served with jasmine rice
  • Sardinhas – 5 sardines, grilled on an open fire sprinkled with coarse salt served with boiled or baked potatoes, olive oil & vinaigrette 
  • Bife a Aueros – 300g fillet, homemade creamy sauce, garlic, Porto wine and chips
  • Bife a Portuguesa – 300g Rump with homemade sauce, round chips topped with an egg
  • Rabo de Boi – oxtail, a hearty treat cooked the traditional Portuguese way served with rice or mashed potatoes
  • Galinha Peri Peri - Whole chicken marinated & grilled on open fire the Moçambique way.
  • Madeira Espetada - Traditional skewered rump cubes grilled. Garlic, sea salt, bay leaves served with Milho Frito, boiled potatoes or mixed vegetables.
